Secondary School Baksetball tips-off this week and we would like to remind you of some important points to enable the smooth running of the season.
4.1. Players must be registered online before the first game of competition (unless otherwise stated).
Secondary School Leagues - Any teams playing without registered players at any time will automatically default their game.
7.5. Secondary School and Adult (running clock games): Each must provide one person to complete the score bench for their own game. This person must be a different person from the coach.
7.6. Secondary School and Adult (stop clock games): Each team must provide 2 persons to complete score bench for their own game. Any team failing to provide this within 5 minutes of the scheduled tip-off time will forfeit the game. This person must be a different person from the coach.
9.5. Teams will receive an automatic $50 fine for defaulting under the following circumstances:
Please see Section 10 for information on rescheduling games.
11.1. Mouthguards are compulsory for all Intermediate & Secondary School competitions - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Players will not be allowed to take the court without one and will be required by the referee to be substituted out of the game if they are found to not be wearing a mouthguard at any time (including stored in clothing)– players leaving the court to get a mouthguard are required to remain substituted for a running clock phase of the game before they can return.
After the construction of the draws, they are FINAL, and no changes will be made unless absolutely necessary at the discretion of BBHB.
Please stay tuned for some further very important guidelines around behaviour at our competitions that will be issued tomorrow.
