Several Hawke's Bay athletes are in attendance at this weeks Basketball New Zealand Under 14 National Talent Camp. These are Kaden Makea, Tia Mataira, Tyrese Ngarangione-Wicks, Renee Rarere, Suraiya Rewi, Teina Robin, Zoram Smiler and Maz Taylor.

Players are selected for this camp based on their performance at the 2018 U13 Central Region Championships whilst playing Representative Basketball for Hawke's Bay. 

Players must play Representative Basketball to be eligible for selection for National Team Camps at all ages.

Basketball Hawkes Bay will hold U13 Representative Trials in July for players to earn places in teams which will compete at the 2019 U13 Central Region Championships held in New Plymouth in October.
